I have done an abundance of running in my day: track, cross country, trail running, 120 km/week training schedules, 3 AM hill repeats, even the Boston Marathon. One fascinating aspect of running is the body’s response when the mind knows the finish line is near. The pace quickens, vision becomes focused, pain recedes. SLA family, the finish line is near. The disappointment in the school closure is near universal, but we have made it so far together and the end is just around the corner. Parents, thank you so much for your support and commitment during this challenging time. Students, your level of dedication shown through work submissions and class attendance has been so encouraging. Faculty and staff, thank you for the long days on the computer and for the unseen work that goes on during your evenings and weekends. So with the finish line in sight, let’s put our heads down and push forward, trusting that “God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
