Principals Report: September 2021

Welcome!

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year. We were blessed to meet many of our new families at our Meet & Greet, and are grateful to see so many returning students and their families. By God’s grace, enrollment peaked at 90 in September. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for entrusting us as educators for your children. So, what’s new this year? We welcomed Christine Goguen, SLA and Burman University graduate, as our new French teacher. Work is well underway for the new gym floor, and the upstairs classrooms received a major facelift over the summer. We are transitioning to a new Student Information System: PowerSchool. Finally, we welcomed Andrea Sayler as our new Education Superintendent and bid a fond farewell to Teresa Ferreira and her family. There will be so much more to share as the year goes on, and we thank God every day that we get to share it with you. I tell everyone I can; we genuinely have an amazing group of students, parents, and teachers. Happy new school year.
