Principal's Report January: "Prosper in all things and be in health".

"Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well." 3 John 1:2 NIV

Welcome to 2021 at SLA. Thanks to all of you who have helped to make this a successful school year thus far. This time of year can be a bit of a drag. Dark mornings, little sunshine, biting cold, and exams can take their toll, and we wish for you to “prosper in all things and be in health.” Here are a few suggestions for truly healthy living this time of year. Get fresh air through winter activities such as sledding. Keep hydrating, even though your body won’t crave water like it does in the hot sun. Put the phone aside, open a book at night, and get a good night’s sleep. Make sure to keep your vitamin D levels up, which is critical to a healthy immune system. Finally, seek God’s joy and peace daily and put your trust in Him. I wish you all a happy and healthy 2021.
